  2. Search over the site. Provide yourself immediately with a search field if you do not have one yet. It happens very often that in order to find anything it would be much quicker to use search rather than navigation. Creating of your own search system is not an easy thing, so don’t complicate the matter and use a ready one, besides Google provides it for free.
  3. Phrases like “Press Here”. Why on the Earth a user should do so? In order to understand it, he would have to read the preceding description; I don’t think he wants to do it. Delete all such phrases from all the web pages of your site right now. And add the valid sentences on its places like “Download a file” or “Listen the pod cast on the subject”.
  4. Title and Alt Attributes. Use these attributes on its direct purposes. Read this article and apply the discovered knowledge at your website.
  5. The last in the list but not less valuable. If you are using some scripts annoying the visitors, such as scripts changing the size of browser window or opening some additional windows, refuse from using it immediately if you do not want to make your audience angry and lose them forever.

  1. Title tag. Every web page should have a unique, short and descriptive title. If the titles of your web pages do not correspond to this rule, make the necessary modifications without any delay.

Forget about the black optimization otherwise you will not be able to reach any success.
